Welcome! Listed here are all the activities that Pioneer Park had, has, and will have going. Everything from basketball to the October Halloween party! Come here to find out what is going on, when it is happening, and who is doing it! Come back often, this is likely to change!

Friday and Saturday evenings an Ice Cream Social will be held at the outpost for one hour before the bingo games begin. Don't miss the chance to mix with friends while enjoying yummy ice cream bars or other ice cream treats. Bingo begins at 7:30p.m. so the Counter will open one hour prior to Bingo. If you haven't yet enjoyed this social event, make sure you try it this year.

And, of course, the legendary Bingo games will be held again this year every Friday and Saturday night from the Memorial Day weekend until Mid-September. Just ask some of the long time attendees and they will affirm the fun these games are. They have been long enjoyed by both young and old alike.


  Weekday Activities

  • Monday through Friday, during the summer season, Water Aerobics are held at the Lower Pool.
  • Monday
  • - Up at the Club House, card games are played at 7pm. There is usually a group playing Sheeps Head in one room and Hand and Foot in the other room.
  • Tuesday
  • - Bring Your Own Beverage - Social Hour, 5pm at the Out Post. Bring your own beverages and an appetizer to pass is optional.
  • Wednesday
  • - Every Wednesday morning at 8:30am, meet at the Club House for a group breakfast out with your friends. Every week is a different local restaurant.
    Evenings up at the Club House, card games are played at 7pm
  • Thursday
  • - Pot luck at the Out Post. Bring a hot or cold dish; Main entree, side dish or dessert, and please bring your own place setting. Eat promptly at 5:30pm.
  • Friday
  • Red Hats; Every 3rd Friday of the month, May - Sept, the Ladies in Red and Purple plan an outing. Ladies under 50 are welcome.
    Friday Nights - Ice Cream Social at 6:30pm - Followed by BINGO at 7:30 at the Outpost.

 


  Weekend Activities

 

  • Friday
  • - Red Hats; Every 3rd Friday of the month, May - Sept, the Ladies in Red and Purple plan an outing. Ladies under 50 are welcome.
    Friday Nights -   Ice Cream Social at 6:30pm - Followed by BINGO at 7:30 at the Outpost.
  • Saturday
  • - Throughout the season, we have many extra activities planned by the Activities Committee, check the Scheduled Activities for a list. Most of these are planned for Saturdays.
    Every Saturday Night  Ice Cream Social at 6:30pm - Followed by BINGO at 7:30 at the Outpost.
  • Sunday
  • - On Holiday Weekends, we may have Sunday morning breakfasts planned and or Bingo on Sunday nights, at 7:30pm.

 


  Park Recreation

smpool.gif (7778 bytes)Pioneer Park has two full sized adult pools and one smaller pool for small children to enjoy. One large pool and the small kiddy pool are right next to the clubhouse, and the other large adult pool is located near the Out Post. The perfect thing for a hot summer day is a cool, relaxing outing at the the pool. Play and splash the day away!

Water Aerobics is held at the Lower Pool, by the Outpost, every Monday through Friday, weather depending - from June until the close of the pools.



play.gif (9114 bytes) play2.gif (7160 bytes)If the kids are restless, they can just hop on over to the playground for a days fun and games; what kids do best! The playground is located next to the pool area at the Out Post. There are two jungle gym/play areas, a sand pit, and swings. The kids can play bulldozer in the sand pit and lava man on the jungle gym. After a day at the playground, your children will be sleeping like babies!  




tennis.gif (10537 bytes)If you are competitive, Pioneer Park has 3 courts: volleyball, tennis, and basketball.  All three are located at the Outpost for your enjoyment.

Pioneer Park has an allotment of fun in store for you when you become a member.  Access to these recreational facilities is free and you can come and go as you please.   Enjoy the fun at Pioneer Park!
